All cash, scholarships, gift certificates, and prize awards are presented to the studio and are non-transferable.
Gift certificates may be awarded in lieu of cash depending on the size of the event.
VIP Dance reserves the right to alter prizes and amounts at any time.
1st Place Production VIP LIST gift certificate is awarded when there are more than 5 productions competing.
Best Hollywood Studio is awarded to the studio with the 5 highest scoring group routines (from small groups, large groups, and lines) in the Hollywood level. The winner receives a $5,000 gift certificate for entries in the 2023 season which may be redeemed at one or multiple 2023 regional events and/or 2023 nationals. Unused portions will expire on 8/1/23.
Best Broadway Studio is awarded to the studio with the 5 highest scoring group routines (from small groups, large groups, and lines) in the Broadway level. The winner receives a $2,000 gift certificate for entries in the 2023 season which may be redeemed at one or multiple 2023 regional events and/or 2023 nationals. Unused portions will expire on 8/1/23.

Master Classes

Convention Classes take place in Junior (12 & under) and Senior (13 & over) convention rooms. Participation in classes is free of charge for all paid competitors.

Opening Number

The Opening Number showcases the amazing talent of our Regional Idol Winners. The choreography, special lighting effects, exclusive t-shirts, and new friendships create lasting memories for these idol performers!

AUDITIONS

Scholarships & Improv

Participants registered for convention classes may take part in scholarship auditions. Finalists are selected and advanced to the final round, an "Improv Line" on Dance-Off Day. Winners are announced at the Studio Accolades Ceremony.

Dance Off

Dance-Off Day wraps up the week with the Production Showdown and top routines re-dancing to compete for our championship VIP Lists! The Dance-Off is filled with excitement as the special events unfold throughout the day.
